Our Projects

The Rotary Club of Nundah has a number of projects we either manage or contribute to in some form. Click on the logo or title of each project to learn more about it!!

PROJECTS WE LEAD:

Kits for Kids Providing school supplies for primary schools in our island neighbours.	Women’s Care Packs    We provide a bag full of goodies for women who unexpectedly end up in hospital.	Citizenship Ceremonies Each year we host an Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony!

LOCAL PROJECTS we have supported in 2015-16:

National Youth Science Forum “The NYSF has given me a level of confidence I had not yet discovered in myself”. You can apply to go through the Rotary Club of Nundah!

Zillmere Community Centre The ZCC work in the local community to alleviate poverty, homelessness, distress, disability, isolation and unemployment. PS.We donated funds towards a new trolley!

Hummingbird House We raised $10,000 for the new child respite care building

Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC) Today ROMAC is Giving Life to around 50 children every year – we are making a huge difference in the lives of these small Island Countries.	Australian Rotary Health Research ensures that all Australians of all ages, from all walks of life will lead healthier lives.	Rotary Australia World Community Service RAWCS assists Rotary Clubs with the development and management of international community service projects.
End Polio Now The fight to end polio is a massive effort that Rotary and its partners cannot do alone.	Rotary Shelterbox Help us bring lifesaving aid to families made homeless by disaster worldwide.	Food Plant Solutions “…a simple and sustainable solution to global malnutrition…”
